Artwork Description

This is the Chinese goddess Si Wang Mu. In her garden is the peach tree whose branches support the world and grows the peaches of immortality, which take a thousand years to ripen. Next to her is perched the chinese phoenix, which has the head of a pheasant and the tail of a peacock.

I never really cared for mixing traditional with digital media (although it may just be that I'm no good at it ^^)

Wow! No one's commented on this?! This is amazing! I love the delicate work of the leaves and the grass; the way you've done the light . . . The dress is marvelous too. I thought the trees at least must be digital (so many pictures on this site are). Smile
