Artwork Description

I seem to be doing a lot of female figures in my pieces, hey im only a man!. So i decided to try my hand at a different model and subject. Its funny but the piece only really came together when i added the viens to the figure. its worth going extreme sometimes because the piece really just looked...well...shiney. The viens really gave the skin the human characteristic that i was looking for. Once again the background really just gives a context to the piece, but the lone survivor on a battlefield is a great atmosphere for my goatman.

Overall, very nice, especially the veins. One thing I would question is his sword hand. It barely seems to be gripping the sword in a secure, realistic manner. Judging by the hand pose, I'm guessing that you used Poser to create this fellow.
A nice picture overall, though.

Well the Torso is fantastic. You are right the veins do it. (I think I will try that on my next male torso)... I like this a lot...very well rendered. Gasp just noticed how good you did the hand...great stuff.

Art at its best.
