Artwork Description

This is a portrait of a friend who recently passed away. I had never met her in person but she was very easy to care deeply about. An artist herself, she created a creature called an Aquanimph. This painting is Kimtje as one of her beloved creatures.

Oh my goodness. I had no idea that Kim died. We visited each others galleries in elfwood and I always looked forward to her lovely comments. So sad. This is a lovely memorial to her.

I used know her from elfwood -such a kind and nice person- now I am really sorry, why not send this piece to her memorial page...

Thanks Chantal & Yifat. I wish she could have seen this one, yanno? *grin* She'd have liked it I think.

Selen, you can visit to see Kim's memorial page.

Suzan, thanks so much. She was a cheerful one, yup. Its nice that her memory has left such a bright and positive light.

Hello Michiel. Thanks... I think the slight sadness in her expression may be a reflection of my state of mind at the time.

This is beautifull. She looks so real. Cheerfull like the way she was. This picture does her so much justice.

Hi, I knew Kim too and feel so overwhelmed by her passing on. I drew her some Aquanymphs too, and feel sad everytime I look at them. She looks gorgeous here, I'm sure she would have been very proud to be an aquanymph!! Amazing piece of work and I think this is my favourite piece on the whole of epilogue!!

It's great and a great tribute to Kim, When we heard she passed away we all felt a shock. You really put a lot of effort in the hair, the colouring also is perfect for an aquanimph. She smiles..but her eyes look sad.

Art at its best.
