Artwork Description

Together with "Another world" and "Fortress...", this one is the kind of painting that expresses my feelings. And I am now surprised to find that all my "emotional" paintings are grey.

I love the crisp, simple style. It reminds me of Narcissus

Hee he, thank you James.

I will try to paint better works to make "lingering" more interesting.

Browsing your gallery certainly made me "linger" awhile (get it, Linger!lol!) and I must say I find your clear crisp style quite lovely, great composition to this one, very delicately done, marvellous!

Thank you very much Smile You really encourage me.
The Cranberries is a famous Irish band, and Daffodil Lament is one of my favorite songs from them.
I keep listening to the song and finally I cant help making a painting for it. While the feeling expressed is rather personal, and I like your interpretation of it.

I don't know anything about the Cranberries Lai, but I do know that your artwork simply never fails to stun with its fantastical representation and extraordinary clarity. This particular piece captures the emotion of lament quite effectively. The way I see it, this person, though surrounded by warm and tranquil surroundings, is oblivious to it (thus the black and white) and is alone in his thoughts. That's my take, dig all your work (though I'm partial to your color ones, you have an awesome technique! Cleaner than Christmas!)

Art at its best.
