First attempt with pen and ink.
I couldn't agree more! That's absolutely true. Isn't it wonderful that over the Internet we can even share our feelings with people all over the world?
Im so glad that you were happy to know that this is the pen and ink that inspired me to try this medium. Most importantly the fact that art can make peoples emotions emerge. Happyness, sadness,etc... to me that is what art is all about.
Isaac on using all kind of media, you know your way! Your "Chasity" shows it! Thanks for visiting my gallery!
Pen and ink too!
That is good advice again, Adrian. Thank you so much, I must still learn a lot on this medium. I've just finished a drawing with coloured ink, it's even more difficult than the black ink! But it's real fun to try.
wow...ink...it is filled with light, and what a wonderful stance! you captured it very well. Love the loose treatment of strokes, yet it tends to look a bit chaotic on some parts of the background. Don`t know much about ink, but I heard it`s good to always keep in mind where the darkest and where the lightest part of the picture is, and to be more radical in placement of tones.
Thank you Anneka! What a wonderful words you add to my huntress! I am really happy with them.
Hey Anneke! My name's Anneka but I'm English, wow! Sorry, I'm a little crazy... Anyway, I really like this piece. It's very detailed but messy at the same time: a difficult trick to master! The anatomy of the whole centaur is perfect too and your choice of media really suits the subject. Brilliant!
Thank you for the visit to my gallery, Christine. It's good to see you. You keep creating your beautiful artworks please.
Huzzah for pen and ink! Thanks for your kind words at my gallery; just returning the favor. Keep up the good work you do, all over the web....
Thank you so much Cynthia, I am an admirer of your works, so I appreciate you words greatly. Your two newest pictures are winners again!
Your first attempt...it's wonderful!
I used a reference for the horse, I'm not familiar with horses. But the woman and the background came out of my imagination, so I am glad you like it, Chris.
I discovered indeed it is a difficult medium, but very challenging too. In the end there was more ink on me than on the paper! I think I will try it another time, I liked it.
Stan, that is very kind of you to visit my humble horse. You can draw such beautiful horses I can learn a lot from you!
Very nice for this very difficult medium.
Pen and ink is a tough medium to work with. You are off to a great start!
Not bad for your first attempt Anneke!
great composition and details!
