A witch in front of her house. Done with oil paint.
Nice hut. I'd like to have something like that.
Thank you, Kay. Some parts on the image are still a little rough, it was my first oil painting some years ago, I was very unsure with the medium (still am. )
Wow. The textures are fantastic. I especially love the front tree bark...wonderful colors.
That's a wonderful thing to say, I appreciate it very much.
The perfect place of "witch tales". Really Beautiful.
Ah Mr. ArtAttacker, how are you? Hey Chris is there any gallery site we have not joined? LOL Thank you for the kind words, I do appreciate them.
Sean, I can tell you, this place really exists and the witch was real too! She was a nice lady who only used her power for the benefit of people.
There's so much texture in the paint because this was my first oil painting and to be honest I had no idea how to do it. So I put up a new layer of paint every time because I wasn't pleased with what I saw.
Hi Anneke, I think this is a wonderful piece. I have to agree the texture in the paint gives the piece demension. Nice work!
when i saw this i thought you posted a picture from better homes and gardens,it has a very realistic look to it.And,as nice as the house is i have to assume she is a good witch-nice work.P.S,Thanks for the response info!
I can tell you, in real life the atmosphere is just wonderful here!
You know, this will be the cosiest witch house there is! Believe me, I´ve been there, you just want to sit at the kitchentable with coffee and a chat with the nice witch.
I am sure she is, they're not all bad, I think.
Wonderful texture! I'd love to see this physically in front of me.
I like the fact that you can actually feel the paint in this one. Well done Anneke!
She looks sweet and kind...I want to go to her house.
Nice lansdcape. She seems to be a good witch!
