Hi Vera,

I love this painting to an extreme! The wisteria is lovely, the cat is precious, and the fairies are exquisite. Don't be bothered by the previous message...this is obviously an artwork of whimsey and delight and your fantasy elements do not need to be explained, just appreciated. Smile

Mirror, what mirror? Thank you for the comments!

I love your cat and the flowers are very nice as well but your fairies need a bit moe variation and their anatomy needs a bit more work. What are the strange round mirror like things in the tree they have puzzled??

I adore the cats you do. I wanna have them all.^^ I like the colours in this, very vibrant...

The kitty just enjoys the company of faeries. He loves to see them dancing.
Thanks for visiting, Michelle.

I have finally made my way over to say thank you for visiting my gallery Laughing out loud ... I love this painting, but I wonder just what the kitty is gonna do if those fairies stay still for long enough ...

Thank you, Christine!

Hey, thanks for stopping by my haunt; I'm returning the favor! You have a wonderful naive, out-siders' sort of feel; don't lose the touch!

Thank you, Christos! As everything in this painting but the cat is from my imagination, so the leaves and flowers are complety fantasy! It is very nice you and other people liked them. I would love to find those novels about the winged cat. Ursula Le Guin has a litter of winged cats in one of her children books.

Vera Lucia, this painting is so fluid and vivid that it makes me want to pick up some tempera and paint... the leaves are especially beautiful.

oh, about the winged cat: there's a pet winged cat in Michael Moorcock's "Corum" and "Elric" fantasy novels. Owned by a strange stumpy character. Perhaps you could get ideas there.

lots of love

Thank you, Terra! This image has haunted me for while. Then, one day I sat down and drew the cat and the whole thing just happened. Now I have been haunted by a winged female siamese cat. Let´s hope it flows in a near future.

Your painting is flowing with intense colors and rich imagination. Not to mention how much I love cats... yes, I deeply believe they DO see faeries!

This cat is planning something, really. But the faeries are just teasing him, any moviment and they disappear!

Guest's picture

Wow, happiness, jolly colors and all! The cat is planning something though, I think.
