Artwork Description

I live in the middle of Canada near the American border. It is inevitable that I paint a lot of winter pieces.

Where we Canadians go in any storm....home! They are searching for the portal they came through by mistake some days ago. They will find shelter and weather the storm if they don't. Unicorns are very resourseful!

I particularly like this one Smile Where will these poor unicorns go for shelter?

Hey, you got here! Welcome to my gallery. I'm so pleased you have this one. It obviously has a great home! Thanks.

Yes, I know. This is why my username is "blueunicorn". I really like blue. I also love the wind. When I look up into the tops of the trees playing in the wind they are often against a lovely blue sky. Snow in winter also has those wonderful blue shadows that sweep across the fields and curl into hollows. Yes, I guess you'd say blue is my favourite color! And thank you for the compliment!

Is blue your favorite color? Almost every picture in your gallery is blue. They're really really good too:)

I'm pleased you like it Katy. I really enjoy sending my fantasies as Christmas cards. As it is there are still only a few friends who like fantasy so I'm not sending many of them so far.

This probably won't be my last painting of unicorns and snow. Like I said.... I live in a part of Canada that does have a lot of snow and a five month winter!

I don't remember seeing this one before either. I can see I will have to rush straight over to your gallery as soon as the elfwood is back. Mind you I am sure you can transfer everything here, no problems with epilogue quality for you. I was not so lucky:( Not all my gallery here. There is something about unicorns and snow isn't there, they just seem to go together don't they.

I really love your unicorns. I think you portray them incredibly good and I even like your winter scenes even though I live in the Sonoran desert.

Art at its best.
