Artwork Description

I said I was going to practice people and this is how I do it! I started with the face on a background of color and it just evolved from there.
This is the largest I've ever painted to date. It is two feet by four feet on stretched canvas.

Ohhh, you're the one who has that georgeous acrylic painting of a unicorn!! Mother Earth...that's exactly who she is; connected to everything. Thanks for the uplifting words!

it is just so stunning!!
Makes me think of the goddess, mother earth.. All in one with the nature... She is in every thing, beautiful work!!

I'm pleased you like this one, Eagle. I worked long on it, but enjoyed the challenge.

the images started speaking to me in my mind. What a wonderful combination! Teh beauty of the marvellous woman with the wisdom of the owl , one of the birds I love most , after the eagle of course

Hello Autumn! My maiden name was Green so double welcome! What a lovely name you have. I'm pleased you came to look and that you like it too. Thank you.

My name is Autumn Dawn Green, so I'm always looking for pictures that feature my name. This is truly beautiful.

Thanks for coming to see Ashley! I needed the color in the background. Animals and birds are easy for me to paint; now that lady's head is another matter altogether......!

This is great, salvador dali in background? Never did like him much but this is very nice, owls... always a challenge i find....

Thanks Beth! It was one of my most difficutl pieces; not only because of the size, but because of my winging it from day to day. The only things I knew for sure was that I wanted it in earth tones and they all had to be interconnected.

Very impressive! I just love all the details and the movement of this piece. It's absolutely magical.

Thank you Ihsan. I'm pleased you noticed that! It's this that composes the symphony.

A beautiful composition, Marilyn, and superbly rendered. I like the flow and intertwining of all the elements, superb work Smile

Hey thanks Katy! I just might do a painting with your suggestion along this line. You're an inspiration!

this is gorgeous mariyln, i love the colours and the hair. the owls is great, and i love the trees in the background. you should do a unicorn with lovely auburn hair like that too, and brown eyes, it would look great.

Oh my, Jessica! I can't believe I haven't been to your gallery before! What a treat! I've only taken a quick peek, so I'm heading back for a wonderful half hour or so of inspiration. Thank you for your comments here.

Thanks Vera. I've seen your new one, but I must put my comment there soon. I visit every now and then.

Thank you Victoria.

Thanks Becca. This painting sort of grew step by step without my actually knowing what I was going to do next until I began work on it that day. So I'm pleased with the way it turned out. I just knew I wanted it to be in the autumn tones.

Impressive and so beautiful. I especially love the owl, and how the woman's hair flows through the image.

Art at its best.
