Artwork Description

This is one I painted a while ago when I was still using oils. The effect is much softer than the work I do today. This dragon is the young unicorn's guardian and is watching while she sleeps.

I always think that looks can be deceiving. I also hope that that it is possible to live in harmony, despite the differences.

Those two really look as they never could be friends. They are so different... but perhaps its that fact why they are? Sometimes creatures who look evil can be good. Its a Yin-Yang of its own kind!

Thank you. This was one of my first ones when I was still in oils. Looking fierce is a great determent, don't you think?

I only use acrylic and watercolor now. I became allergic to the oils. Thanks for coming by!

I find oils easier to use the acrilics, but you seem to have mastered both! I love the subtle colours of the dragon that fade into the sky. Lovely Smile

Art at its best.
