Here we have an aged hunter of vampires.
but in one of my stories,i have a character named Dimitri!!he is an evil vampire tyrant, who loves my main character,Risika, but he looks WAY younger and cuter than that,he has long black hair, sapphire eyes and tanned skin, faded over the several hundred years,he looks 19 and has the most mischievious smile, sorry to bore you,the pic is great!!keep up the good work, from a friend,Risika aka Serkelote
My goodness...this is a ... GREAT character. I wish I knew how to describe him to you! I know I've seen a character in the movies like this, yet... oh, Idunno. Clint Eastwood meets D? I'm not sure. Fantastic details in the costume (heh, neckprotection).
One thing that bugs me is the far hand and arm...something about the pose of the arm as well as the size of the hand just...looks off, to me.
But MAN. This...This is great. Congrats.
Great atmosphere, great character! Great all round mate
I want his hat
Reminds me a little of Solomon Kane, only cooler. Love the areas of focus in this pic. I love your style and subject matter. Ok, I'm a little jealous...^_^
Tasha, thankyou. I am pleased with the response you gave to me. It spurs me on to do more.
Thanks Eric that was the first one I tried like that. I learned to finish off with a contrast layer that I paint into giving some parts of the image more focus. Of course I also blurred the leaf layer.
Thanks for checking out my gallery William. I laughed out loud when I read your comment. I guess I did my job right on that one then. The description of the character as given to me was that he be a good guy that looked like a bad guy.
LOL, William, yeah, I'm no vampire but wouldn't want to meet the guy in a dark alley. Or even worse, in a bright lit alley.
I love the picture, wonderful work on all the details. I like his face and the texture of the hat and the misty forest, and actually everything else. Super!
I especially love the depth of field here. Nice job!
Yarr! Fabulous work! Love the mood and the details !!
I suppose if all else fails he could just scare them to death...
