Artwork Description

This guy was done in oil on a canvas board. A snake tattooed on the side someone's face seemed like a good idea at the time. I believe he is part of the "Mullet" tribe.

I'm also fascinated by tattoos, but I don't have any of my own. I made a dragon design for this guy at work. He had it tattooed across his shoulders. Flames wrapped around one arm and the dragon's tail wrapped around the other arm. It turned out really cool. I still have the original drawing so it's a one of a kind tattoo.

I am incredible partial to tattoos, so I just -had- to comment on this one. I, myself, have two. One, a rather large dragon on my hip that I designed myself (and that the place wanted to buy! ..I didn't sell. Part of the reason I wanted that was so no one else would have the same one.) And a small rose on my stomach, red with yellow highlights. This is a wonderful character. I'm glad to see a little differentiation in the art on here. It's all.. ultimate beautiful women and men. I like that he's not 'perfect'. I'll bet there's an interesting story behind him, no doubt! ~Torri

I'd be real careful, my muse is pretty contagious! Thanks for the comments.

The way people are tattooing themselves now a days, I wouldn't be a bit surprised if some one tries this one on for size!

I'm afraid that Norman Rockwell would have been gravely insulted, but I appreciate the comparison. The skin color is a little odd, but it seems to work. Thanks for the comments, Kay.

To tell the truth I was pretty happy with the way the tattoo turned out. Thanks for stopping by, Stan.

Ahahah...Mullet Tribe! I think they have an encampment in my town!
Love the character Dan. That snake tatto may start a trend!

Wonderfully well rendered....You have the skin tones down. I like the face on the guy too. He looks like a Norman Rockwell character gone native...Love it.

Dan, nice job with the acrylics. Very nice multi-layered colors in the skin! You did an excellent job in making the tattoo a part of the skin.

Art at its best.
