Artwork Description

Odin, or Allfather is a god of war and death, but also the god of poetry and wisdom. The tidings are brought to him by his two raven Huginn and Muninn. He is accompanied by the wolves Freki and Geri, to whom he gives his food for he himself consumes nothing but wine. Odin has only one eye, his other eye he traded for a drink from the Well of Wisdom, and gained immense knowledge. His steed, Sleipnir has eight legs. (I couldn't figure out how to paint an eight-legged horse without making it look really goofy.)

Hi, I've been looking for a Christmas present for my dad and I was wondering how much this and the Knight Dragon one were (seperately), your paintings are fantastic and I know he would love to have one for Christmas.

Great painting..! Makes me wish I had patience and skill to use oils.
Just a note: Sleipner, Odin's horse, had 8 legs.. Guess you've pictured him on a borrowed horse. ;0)
