I totally agree with all the comments below, especially Mark Lockett's.

Hi Linda. thanks. The bigger version is actually much more detailed. There is a couple making love in one of the windows for example but it can't be seen on the small version;)

Lovely image. The level of detail and the mood leave me breathless.

You know what? I saw a picture of a market scene in some southeast country and that is where the idea for the pic came from. The falcon was added only because I had no idea what to do with her left arm. The rooster was added last to add more sense of ruralness to the entire composition. If this piece means something, I am still trying to figure it out.

Yala is SO beautiful and I love the futuristic asian feel to it.

I might be going out on the limb here but is the rooster and the eagle symbolic clues as to Yala's country of origin? Am guessing Philippines but I could be wrong. Though I find them too prominent to not mean anything. Please tell me! Smile

Excellent picture Johneil, the detail here is very absorbing and your use of colour to seperate areas and give depth is very effective. I like the main building design and the rendering of the main character (Yala?) is top quality. Nice one.

Art at its best.
