She would be so proud at you!
Looking at this picture, knowing you made this for her, (and of course the beauty of the picture) made me cry!

I love it..

Though I already know these condolonces come years late, I offer them still. Treasured with hungry greed are those who can play our hearts strings like a harp, making their loss ever more poignant and personal. Much of my family has suffered through cancers and TI's, my own father succumbing to a cancer of the inoperable sort just a month befor emy highschool graduation in the same year as your friends death. I confess that, until his dying moments, I was a devout atheist. However, as with all things, beleif is subject to change. I refused to let my loving parent pass from this world into nothingness, despite 12 years of thinking of no religious lord, I accepted heaven[Not God or the rest of it.] So that my father could glide through the clouds, watch the world. This portrait is a pure representation of how I felt, how I saw it, and just by looking at her, I can clearly see the love etched into every stroke. Years after, I could almost see her smiling still everytime someone opens this page. It's a masterpiece Jhoneil, feel proud.

Marvelous skill attaches the mind and subconscious with muted whirling mist and centerstudy a la magnific. A must. Romantic.

This is truely an exquisit piece. The softness, the glow and the dove is the perfect touch. A very beautiful job. ^^

Wow, Jhoneil, this is truely beautiful. I'm so sorry about your friend, Nhilca. It is a shame to lose someone so young. I'm sure even she is weeping tears of pride and gratitude for you and is inspired by your tribute, as am I. I like the sense of depth created by the blurred background, the Baroque-looking architecture, the delicate, exquisite drapery of her outfit, and the bold, yet somehow subtle lighting. Masterfully done. Keep up the good work; you've definately got talent. --Gregory P.

this is a great pic, but I do have to agree w/ Lipták László, the wings are a little ridged and unlife like, but it is a great picture anyway, and she must have been a really awsome person, and you must have really cared for her

This is just absolutely beautiful. No need to feel bad for not hurrying it along. I'm sure she can see it now, and I would bet she loves it as much as we do.

Dude, your art has the dark quirkiness of hell, delicate touch of heaven and some mad skill all bundled into one. (Hope that wasn't too poetic... that's the best way to describe it, really).

Guest's picture

Gorgeous, poignant and stunningly executed. My condolences upon your loss, and my congratulations for a piece as wonderfully done as this.
