done in painter classic
both of you thanks! And yes...I know I should have spent more time on the fabric... But I have learned...-smiles-
This is amazing work - the lighting is superb, the quality of your rendering is exquisite. You've done a very nice job here, particularly with that haunting stare. Keep up the great work!
After going through your entire gallery, I decided that I just had to comment on this one. It was the eyes that drew me - they're absolutely stunning, and peer eerily forward. I'm also impressed that you did this in Painter Classic. I have that program and can never seem to manage such beautiful skin tones in it. The only part of the painting that bothers me a bit is around the waist, where the cords cross the fabric. I would have liked to see more effect from them, such as bulging of the fabric underneath, or diversion of the folds/wrinkles.
Anyway, lovely piece, and a great gallery.
You modeled this after a Helena Bonham Carter picture...didn't you?
Awesome ! Is that a Bindi on the top of her forehead
Her skin looks amazing.. wow!
Wonderful, I really like this and feel extra flattered that you liked my work. But then I shouldn't be surprised I like this, after all my nickname is Kiri:) Again you do beautiful stuff!
She look like a silentfilm star. but, er.. in color (still no sound trhough:) Wonderful work!!!
Very good work with wonderful shades( tunes ). I like how you use dark and light colors.
Amazing skin and anatomy. If you have 0 years experience, you are going to be someone I'll have to watch!
Her eyes are wonderful as is the draping of her dress. I agree though, add just a touch of highlights on the hair and the jewel on her forehead.
Very nice job with the skin tones too!
I think what I like best about this is the way you made the folds of the dress just flow. This is beautiful and sexy. Excellent work with shadowing, too. Wow!
Beautiful painting Shell, great composition, design and rendering. I like the colours too!
Eevn from the thumbnail, I love the dress. I can't get over the fact I love the way you color! Beautiful eyes.
I love this piece. I hope this doesn't sound too pompous, but I think that you are improving by leaps and bounds. I love the contrast and the textures. If I had one suggestion? I would hilite the chain to her headpiece a little more - it seems to get lost in her hair...~Patch
