Like that scene from the little mermaid, hehe! No, she is a water goddess getting a glimpse of the sun.
Love the pic... but the title... Shouldn't it be beaUTy of the deep?
Just something I noticed.
i agree with epilogue guest 2002-11-05, this is Fathom. good job on it but yeah... give credit where credit is due.
This is beautiful, but it is a picture from Fathom, I have that comic. But I am sure you were just inspired and there is nothing wrong with that. But, give credit where credit is due.
This, in the face and the water, looks a lot like Turner's work.
Aww! thanx jen! *hugs* You are so lovely, and incedibly talented..your work is amazing! ug, the art on my sie is old and ugly T-T im just too darned lazy to change it! Thanx again!
This really does look like it took forever! And more power to the manga! ::waves banner stating 'EAT THE DETAIL':: You should put more art up, I'm surfing through your website right now (love the pink layout, it's just screaming kawaii) and you've got so many great pictures up there!
very cool. even though im not from the uk, (im from the usa.) this is a really fun pic. i think it would look better with colors, too, if you just copied this one. Anyways, its really cool.
Hey Tina, thanx for dropping by! Funky eh? cool!
Ye, when i have coloured things b4, they have totally gone to the dogs..so i was kinda iffy bout painting this one, and I havn't yet! I would love Photoshop of some kind tho so that i could scan it in and see what kinda colours would go nice with it or not. Hmmm one day maybe! Thanx, oh and if you think im gonna attempt to draw out THAT again....hunny, i would personally rather be eaten slowly by rabid ferrets!
However, that is a good idea for some previous pics..i could use your advice!
humor? what humor??? hehe, thanx alot sweety, Oh hang on i get it! I know whats so funny! its the fact that i called her "beaty of the deep" instead of "BEAUTY of the deep"
damit, i cant spell T-T ...sounds like she is the trans Atlantic egg preparer or sumfin..never mind!
BTW, i love your sketches, they are gorgeous ^-^
Thank you very much Nene! Ye the going ova did take forever, i can remember finishing the sketch (which took hours) and feelin smug, THEN thinking "holy crap, i gotta ink this now..." I believe there are still dents in the wall where i beat my head against it for at least 10 minutes, J/k! That was a lovely comment, but to be honest, i dont like the hair too much now, dunno why. Just dosnt look right. ^-^
Incredible beauty along with some good humor.. you made me laugh, smile and awe. All those details.. and she is just so beautifull..
This is so gorgeous. Wow! I love her face, the details on her costume and all the little bits of the water. The flow of the hair really adds to the motion of the piece. You must have been inking forever!
Beautiful work. Can't wait to see more.
Thank you Noventa, it is so amazing to recieve such inspiring comments from such talented artists ^-^ The water took forever, and so did the hair....but the one thing that im not pleased about is the fact that it seems to be too crowded...it despretely needs some colour defanition! *wishes she had photoshop* T-T
SB! thank you so much hunny, that is a lovely and genuine complment! And you are as much of a loser as Hitler was a nice person..your art is fantastic! I absolutely adore it! Yes I would have to agree with you about the manga..it is so NOT just a "cartoon",and as a wise person once said 'life is life and anime is anime'. True, true. Thank you again, all of your inspirational comments mean alot to me.
Yeah remember this one too! So pretty:) I thought I already left a message, but must have been forgotten:S But better late then never right? This is really amazing, her hair and the water and everything:)Kutgw!
OMG!!! I remember you!!! I was just crusing the galleries when I was bored one day and I saw yours and it was SOOO pretty!!! I could never draw so many water droplets...I'm a loser. And the girl is so awesome!!! My favorite part of your gallory though is the part where you said manga is one of the most beautiful art styles though...many people don't even recognise it as anything but cartoons and comics but it is SO MUCH MORE...and that really comes out in your art. *is wowed*
huh? I think you got the wrong gallery sweety, im Aurora, not Linda!
Oh Linda, what a rush you must get by creating people to adore you.
Wow! a comment from you!!!! I am soo honored ^-^ Yes i did have it coloured, maybe I'll post it up....I dont have photo shop tho, wish I did! Thank you all for your kind words! it is very inspirational for me!
Wow! What a feeling of movement! You can just feel the water exploding around her as she emerges from the deep. It's just crying out to be colored too.
Wow, this if very pretty! I like the expression on her face and all the little details! I think I'd go nuts doing something like this o.O; Beautiful!
wow! Thats a really nice comment! Thanx alot, i really tried to capture movement in this piece, that somebady recognised it is definately worth while.
The picture is so really it kind of jumps at you with a maddened sence of beauty
You know what, you are right! It is only a picture, and it definately needs some colour definition ^-^ I just hope I get as good results as you do...
Ah, wow You really should color it! If I start to think like that, I try to make my self think like ¨nah, it's just a drawing¨ and then color the pic. And usually get good results... usually...
Thank you michael! She is the first in a series of elements (not very original I know, but hell..) I should probubly colour her, but im too scared!
Very nice picture.. the sense of movement is wonderful. I love the flow of the hair...
