She has never seen anything like it before... Where could it have come from? Are her eyes playing tricks on her?
A great idea -- the whole scene makes immediate sense -- a little story in a single picture
LOL, thank you! Nobody has ever mentioned the crack, but I figured that after a shipwreck, a vanity would be a little worse for wear, especially if it landed in a coral bed.
Same here...I love the idea of the cracked mirror!
Thank you so much for stopping by, Norma, and for commenting once again on this drawing! I'm not exactly sure if you have one, I've been searching for your gallery here. Now I'll "kick it up a notch" and search harder. It's wonderful to hear from you again! Again, thank you for the compliments!
Theresa! It's wonderful to see you here at Epilogue! ^_^ I love this picture. It's so wonderfully inventive, from the incredible composition to the glorious colors. One of those pics where it's so much fun to look around and see all the luxurious little details. You have a wonderful talent, and I adore your work.
The tail was the first part of the drawing that was done, and after that, I knew that it'd be a brightly colored piece.
Oh, why, thank you! I had a lot of fun doing this one.
