north east of Tahiti with noble savages dreamed by Jean-Jacques Rousseau the great french philosopher who inspired the french revolution.
Hi Chris,Yes I posed for that painting... I never lived under tropical stars, the most tropical part of i went to was New-Orleans and i did'nt even visit the bayous so...When I was a child, I wanted to finish my life in the marquisian islands No
Did you paint yourself in this one? The main character looks like you. Also, have you ever visted or lived in a tropical part of the world like Hawaii for instance? Obviously you have a love of lush tropical plants and environments. I really enjoy your paintings. Thanks.
Sometimes when I need a special sky or whatever, I can use a photo .When I began to paint I was making a lot of research in books but I don't really need it anymore because my technique and my experience are totaly serving my imagination.
Are your landscapes partially based on photography, or are they completely derived from your imagination?
a wonderful painting
I love your color pallet and creativity! Beautiful work!
