Marriage of Heaven and Hell,

Without Contraries is no progression. Attraction and Repulsion, Reason and Energy, Love and Hate, are necessary to Human existence.
From these contraries spring what the religious call Good & Evil. Good is the passive that obeys Reason. Evil is the active springing from Energy.
Good is Heaven. Evil is Hell.

hey,thankies (to all)for the nice comments,so far...
and due to the use of airbrush,that is well thought of for the colored version,this ones background is flecked with da good ol´ teethbrush...;D

did you actually dot the whole background with a pencil? I'd just give up and pull out the good old airbrush...

and i hope you won't kick me for saying this, but these creatures kinda remind me of a certain pic in Dchan gallery (also here on epilogue). waAahh don't kick meeeee.. *runs away and hides*

I really like the way this looks like a technical drawing of some kind, the understated shaded values that still lend realism to the picture as a whole. Great drawing!
