Artwork Description

"You are all pawns for shadowed hands to move. If this sickens you, perhaps we should talk in private?"

The Ventrue are a manipulative clan of blue-bloods. I just had to play one! This is a digi-painting of a lady I once played.

Drawn in Photoshop 6 with a wacom. I used a photo ref for the shirt. Fell in love with its shadows and light and had to use it! Enjoy!

Made some changes to the neck area based on some feedback.

An attempt to be constructive: the shirt looks great and the position of the arms doesnt matter a huge deal - models bend like that - and i have little complaint, except that it does look digitally created, unless you're not after the painted effect (sorry im all for the traditional method... anyone can do digital, but mastering paint... i bow down to people who can). the only outstanding problem is that the neck is rather long - so slightly out of proportion. otherwise its a good piece of work.

Fabulous clothing!

Like one guest pointed out the physiology is incorrect. The details in the shirt are fine but are overshadowed by poor physiological definitions.

Thanks! The shirt took tons of time, but it was worth it! I have some other vampire picts on the way!

When i first saw this i thought that her head was twisted to the back (facing the other direction)but it has to do with the folds of her blouse (the shoulder and armpits) and she has a pretty long neck.

Great job on the blouse Lori! The subtle shades and shifts of blue and yellow in the shadows of her shirt are right on. Great pic!

Art at its best.
