Ahh, I should have known, you already possess the gift!!!
Thank you, very much Chris! My day, indeed my very life has been enriched by the introduction to "Word Botching". I do love me some spoonerisms! It works with names, too, y'know....Betsy Lutz, Ned Lutz, 'Pinky' Stooper, Hank Ward..... the end is listless, innit?
This is a pleasant and soothing image, indeed I envy the female perspective on art, as my own seems to hard, and testosterony at times. Which reminds me, Butterfly, Flutterby, that's like a little game I and my friends like to play, that we call, "Word botching"! Example; "Pop Tarts", switch the letters of each word up to the first vowel and.. "Top Parts!!" Hilarious!! We waste are life searching for such "hidden gems" in the English language, it's really fun! But beware, if you play this game, you may find some really weird combinations! Here's a few examples;
Smart Feller!, Chicken and Dumplings!, Pop Corn!, Glazed Donuts!, and the list goes on and on!
I know you can't thank me enough for introducing you to Word Botching, and I wish you the best of luck in your quest with this new, and wonderful gift. Thank you. Sincerely, chris Shepard. ^___^
Thank you, Anne! I'm glad you came to visit!
Hi Mary - thanks for stopping in. Now I can see your work too! I love this piece and the way you use that bright white in the center of the flowers. Very effective effect! I like your work very much.
Pretty Pretty..I like the expression...leaves you wondering what enchanted thing she is thinking.
Very beautiful! I noticed your work and then that it was done in colored pencil. What a great look. Reminds of old legends and magic spells. Very enchanting.
Very nice. I think this is my favorite of yours. I feel almost proud of her face--I'm not meaning to be rude, but your other faces have been a bit fuzzy; this one, on the other hand, is very clear, and very nice. Good job!
P.S.: I love her wings, and the butterfly too!
Lovely. Wonderful garden she's in!
So pretty! My favorite of yours. Love the butterffly wings!
