decidade to keep the rough pencils visible but may go back and make a smoother painting later.
It's Heather Mallory, remember me?
Nice job, I looooove it. Same amazing use of contrast, U rock. Mrs. Tarr would be proud.
I love his expression and the drawing is perfect!
This is wonderful, don't even think of getting rid of the roughness, "Smooth" isn't all it's made out to be
The colours are perfect and so is her face, the only thing that catches my eye as not quite perfect is her shoulder, it seems to stop rather suddenly, (but who am I to say, my pencilling is nothing compared to this).
Beautiful work! Very interesting!
Thamkyou, and you guessed it right she is supposed to be in the desert.
Besides the amazing technique, love that deep stare of her. And the beautiful desert-feel colors you've used here. Yeah, my favs of yours:)
Beautiful portrait Aiko, like everyone else I think the texture of the pencil adds a great deal to the piece. Excellent work.
Thanks I'm glad you guys liked the roughness of it. Since I'm much better at drawing then painting I decidade to leave the marks instead of smudging it or completely painting over it.
No! Keep the rough pencils in there! I love it just as it is...
The face has such a beautiful structure..and the rough quality is very craftsmanlike.
Fantastic job, Aiko. Looks like a colored pencil sketch! Nice rendering job.
