I really like this picture... It makes me think of the book Ben Hur and the character Isis. It's been SO long since I read that book. She was manipulative, spoiled, but also sort of sad. This picture makes it look like she's playing with the wind currents of the world.especially the wind swirls, and if you look closely you can see the pattern of her fingertips in the sky outside her balcony.

I'm a big fan of the translucent, almost-transparent barely there fabrics for things like curtains and cloaks, and both are done beautifully here. It makes you wonder if the stars are sewn into the curtain in the background, or if they're the actual stars in the sky, seen through the haze of the curtain.

The subtle addition of her ankh earring, the pyramids, and sun give this picture a rather egyptian feel without it being too overbearing. I noticed, most artists have their own unique style of drawing moons. You seem to prefer the barely-there waning moon. It makes a nice contrast with the setting sun.

Lovely piece overall, it's very soft and magical.

She's a heart-stuffer to me! Indescribably beautiful. She must have come to you in dreams. May She bless you always!
