Artwork Description

No pretty headshot of the beast, but a bit more like I think it might be to see the thing slither below after torching the fleet.

Thank you, Norma! How lucky we are to live by the sea. Standing out on a pier in a storm can give me a million images to paint, and all with the chills!

Very much appreciated, Sergey! Alive is what I wanted the sea to be. I really appreciate you dropping by!

Living close to the ocean and having a fascination with sea-monsters, this picture impresses and delights me. The ominous power of the creature is pictured beautifully, as is the awe-inspiring force of the sea.

Beautiful and very strong work! You do it very alive!! It's beautiful to see the shadow on water, the body is very strong! Very interesting to see!

Oh Walt this is breathtaking. I envy your eye for design and your power of movement. I would do well to study and stare at your work for days.
Thanks for visiting my gallery it brought me back to yours...I missed the posting of these past few. What a treat...New stuff by Walt!
Oh I just did some barbarians...thought of you the whole time. (not that they are anything like your unbelievable fantastic barbarians...oh barbarian master...Smile

The suggestion of the beast and it's effect on the waters around it do more to evoke a feeling of power and danger than actually giving th creature a "face". A hard thing to pull off...and you did it with style!
I love the little light in the center. To me, it looks like a tiny spark of hope.
Emotionally powerful stuff Walt!
