The pic itself is good for a beginner. There is room for growth. However, the poses are strangly similar to the Final Fantasy X-2 poster of Baralai, Nooj, and Gippal. This was posted around the time that the illustrations for the game were being released. I dunno, that's just me. But a nice place to start coloring with Photoshop. It's a huge program that takes patience to learn.

Cool picture, nice colors and composition. I'm sure your linework will improve as you do more photoshop work, this is an excellent first piece. I wanna see more, bring 'em on!

nice drawing.....good use of colors too!
If you've never used photoshop....if you make a layer and change the property to multiply...it'll keep your lines visible until you decide to make them otherwise...just F.Y.I... ;o)
Take Care!!

The two characters remind me of a grown up version of Serge and Kid from Chrono Cross.

If this is your beginner work You have definate natural talent. the way you colored the ground (not to mention the characters themselves) is nothing short of "true artistry"

Nevertheless I like this piece. I think it's quite good. The theme is inspiring.

Thats a great first piece keep them coming,it's a competive market so be the best you can be and never give up.
Great luck to you,you got the talent now it's up to you what you do with it.

Yeah...they look a little cloths deprived but hey, don't go dissing off on people becuase of your own personal preferrences. According aerodynamic principles and math, angels with wings small enough to fit on the screen shouldn't be able to fly...and even if they could fly, they'd have to have massive pectorals. WHY DON'T PEOPLE EVER COMPLAIN ABOUT THAT!!!? Cause who wants an angle with a giant chest anyway? So why do warrior women need cloths? I don't care if it's realistic or not...its a good pic.

Guest's picture

Its a good work and all but there is one thing that gets me WHY WHEN PEOPLE MAKE WORRIER WOMEN THEY MAKE THEM HALF NAKED! Its stupid if you are going to fight a parson to the death with weapons you would think you would put armer on not playboy clothes.

Outstanding for a first attempt Irene, your line work and anatomy are also impressive.

Art at its best.
