Artwork Description

Forgive the wording in the picture. It was saved as so before I even knew about Epilogue.

However, I must admit this piece was a challenge. I wanted shadowing for the butterflies, which took some time to accomplish. Although, my favorite aspect of the piece is the transparent wings.

This is wonderful, it reminds me of my childhood and dark evenings full of moths in car headlights! I know these are butterflies but it still reminds me of them Smile

Wow, simply beautiful. I have no idea how managed to do such a piece; I am truly in awe. Keep up the good work; perhaps we'll see some Delfae in here sometime? Wink ~KM Mika of Garr

The light translucency of the wings does give the composition a light, delicate feel...I like the way you used only a couple of colors to make the picture..it gives it a calming appeal

More is on the way, I promise! Its all awaiting approval and so far not a single one of my digital pieces has been denied approval. (However, it will happen no doubt!) Just check back, I'm hoping they'll add more today!

I like this. It certainly does give me the sense of what you described in your reply to camille. The transparancy of the wings and the "lacy" texture is great. Good detail. So yeah, it's not just you. Very nice stuff. more more more!

It really is such a simple piece. But I imagine it as a silent evening, with a slight breeze and only the low hum of fluttering wings. And because of this soundless atmosphere, the butterflies have emerged.

Sort of like, if even a stick were to break they would vanish. . . But Perhaps it's just me!
