Beautiful piece! It has an epic, mythic quality.
Lovely piece. Love the textures and the mood.
Very strong image! Love your use of contrasting values and textures. I like the massive print suggestion, too-
It would definitely stop traffic!
Forgot to sign in - it's Jordan here and that was me in the previous comment.
Geez Alice, your work is getting so awesomely mind-blowing. Your drawing just keeps getting more acurate and your colouring/texturing keeps getting more competent and intricately detailed. I'm going to have to start hating you soon!
thanks for the comment Samuel
Thanks Oliver... Giger wasn't really in mind when I drew this, but hey
Awesome work Alice! Im spechless and someones standing on my chest, muchos <3 <3 for your mixed media!
this is pretty amazing,it seems like i´m a bit too long away...
your technique is getting better and better, will mean,i´m still stunning about your skillz right now, keep on doing, you have a great style, and outstanding talent...!
p.s. i like this picture a lot, reminds me on "Giger" and my "dark flavour of happiness" a bit,but hey,you have done it your own pretty way,and that counts...respect!
woah, that'd be cool. I think that's going to be my new ambition
This is amazing. I really love the texure on it, and I think it would look great as a massive print in the Tate Modern gallery in London
Really interesting and inspiring. I think you like one of my favorite artists too....(Brom)
Reluctant to use photographs, thats why this illustration is so attractive and eye catching.
very stunning.. nice merging of digital and traditional
i used myself as reference, no photos... I'm reluctant to use photos, but using myself all the time means that my images end up looking the same
H.R. Giger . hmmmmm nah it reminds me of Brom but any way this illustration rocks keep up the cool art by the way did ya use any photos ? for reference ? cool pick
thanks patrick... I sort of see what you mean about Giger, often women in his pictures look sort of vacant, kinda like this
lol at brill:)))
linda is the editor, that means she accepted the pic picture to be in the gallery
love it. that make me think of giger, even if the technike not the same.
maybe the ambiance..
brilliant but i could have guessed lind abergkvist was involved there somewhere! nice one , pretty eerie though
