Hey, Leo - don't know why I never commented on this one. I really love the colors and lighting - you've really popped the foreground, but made the background interesting and attractive too. Nifty stuff!

Thanks for posting, Chris. I was using different type of brush for most of the painting (#2 flat) and I got some interesting results.

looks like you used an "X" marks the spot composition here. I also theorize that you keep your brushstrokes relatively large and shade in large blocks when possible; thus speeding up the time it takes to craft a painting and succesfully conveying it's underlying concept.
