This is my favorite in your wonderful Gallery. Your work reminds me of the kind of illustration popular at the beginning of the last century (in a good way). I look forward to seeing more (even though there are plenty here!)

Did you base this off that old old disney cartoon with the trees dancing and falling in love by chance. Great pic, keep it up.

Yes, trees do have feelings. Imagine if a tree could talk. The stories it could tell about history, people, animals, weather, etc. They are truely beautiful creatures & we must not take them for granted.

*sob* This is so beautiful ! I love trees, all kinds of trees, and I was always convinced that they had feelings and thoughts of their own.I couldn't brake a single branch, ever.Too bad that a lot of today's humans don't feel this way...

Trees are great, aren't they!

I'll never see trees the same way again. Especially the three Sister Birches in my front yard!

Glad you like it, Tiina & Janne

Thank you Terry. Some of my favorite artists were alive at that time.

It's one of my favorite too, Socar. It's a very personal piece to me. **I like the spectacles you put on Lady Darby, too. I love all your work!

Wow, the sky is just so wow. The picture is full of light. And those trees. Oh this is just too wonderful...

a pretty extremely revelationally excellently marvellous work on this one and I'm not I repeat I'm not ecaggerating a bit. To make two mere trees to look as nice and interesting to spectate like this overwhelms me and fills me with an amazement, not from this world pal!

pure magic James, you have capture that 1920/30s`s style off to a "T", and your a real master with watercolours....superb!

It's always great to see your new work--I think this is my favourite yet. The concept is wonderful. I particularly like the spectacles on the older tree--nice touch!

This is so charming! It has the airiness and deceptive simplicity of Vess or Rackham, but with a style all its own.

Hehehe, that's so cool.

So adorable! What a wonderful idea for a composition! Laughing out loud

Art at its best.
