A faery of much faith.
I do try to paint a world that is peaceful and full of what magical dreams are made of. Anyway to escape from this world, even for a moment. Thank you Persephone.
Someone else mentioned that upon viewing your work they fell through time back into the place of their childhood and I echo these sentiments...infact I feel like the fairy you have depicted ...a sweet sense of falling,a desire to float and fly to where your whim wanders for I know that where ever I land it will be in a beautiful place...a secret space in my spirit that you have opened for me(persephone)
Since you took the time & comment on so many of my pieces, I thought I'd give you a BIG THANK YOU!
I love how you painted the tree and the wings.
Thank you for the great compliment Ken! Arthur Rackham has had the largest influence on my work. He is truely one of the greats!
Wow. I have seen some amazing watercolor work on this site and this one really stands out...Rackham would be proud! Gorgeous, precise and wonderfully composed!
Great watercolor work. One of the best I've ever seen.*admires*
What a great watercolorist you are, I really like your work. What a difficult picture to paint, beautifully done.
She's falling back, having faith that someone will catch her.
I know about splashing color and water on a page and letting it do it's thing. This turned out wonderful. Glad to see you went with the flow!
They happen to be my two favorite. Rackham #1 & Mucha #2.
This was one of those pieces I knocked out in a few hours. I was happy with the way it turned out. I just splashed some watercolor on the paper, watched the paint dry & this is what I saw. I then rendered it. Sometimes simple is better. Thanks!
Great job! Do you enjoy the work of Alphonse Mucha or Arthur Rackham?
A well-deserved Editor's Pick if ever I saw one! This is great...you've given the wings and bark so much texture with so few well-placed brushstrokes--masterful stuff!
