This was done with prisma colored pencil. I am currently trying to make it into a flash/screensaver.

Am very interested in how you are getting on with the flash image. Do you have any other images of an internal clockworks animated?suejordanuk@yahoo.com

O_O you did this with Prismacolors?!

i also use prismacolors alot, but i cant get the great effects you have here, espacially with the blending. How did you do that?

Prismacolor is just a brand of colored pencils and markers....i find them to be a little more greasy and smooth compared to lets say...crayola..it makes your colors come out smoother and solid instead of sketchy. You should find them in just about in art supply store i think. they are a little more money...but usually you can buy them in single colors so you just get what you need. Try Micheals crafts....if you have that around you, they got tons of them

I love the colors, and all the machinery and stuff. This is one of my favorites of yours Shumy. Hey can I call you Shumy(Shoe-me) instead of Shumate? (:

Tim....
Seriously, why do u make such horrible s*it. Woo Hoo a clock that has crappy symbols on it and some fairy that is another rusty robot. Tim...i think you have a fetish for robots? Do ya tim...? Do ya?

You work is simply immaculate. I nearly cried when I saw how much detail you put into this work. Beautiful composition, and fabulous colors... Oh did I mention how much I love the composition. Simply Fabulous. Kudos to you Tim. Kudos Smile

thanks, and yes they are opaque, yet its is horribly hard to keep them writing on a colorpenciled surface, you just gott hurry up and work on all your pics when the gel finally decides it wants to come out.

I really like your work, Tim. Incredible compositions and color. This one is just crazy with detail and very rich.
I've read a few times now of artists using white gel pens in their work. Are they quite opaque then? And will they last very long?
Hope to see a whole lot more.

pretty much all prismacolored pencil, and then a white and yellow gell pen for the highlights and outlining....and i used a few slight lensflares from photoshop to give it a smokey look.

heh, i kinda gave up, flash bugs me. I was going to try and get the ring around the clock with the symbols to rotate and few bleepy things.
