Cover for Spectrum 10 -this year (2003).
Your work is amazing; this piece of art is beautiful....
Filled with great power and grace. What a beautiful soul you have ...
I so love your picture, Mistress of the Winds. I do believe you used my beautiful daughter for a model. She passed in an accident in June 2001 and looked EXACTLY like the magical figure in your picture. I look at her often, and this is the most real image. For the record, the wind does play with me.
Princess Of The Lakes
As mentioned previously, this cover picture sold Spectrum 10 to me, too. Any chance of a book with purely Christophe Vacher pictures? Or one showing Vacher techniques?
this is realy an amazing piece of art
I wish I could make something like that :s
I'm not an artist, but that doesn't quench the desire to view fantastic art!!! This is gorgeous..such detail..and flowing lines.

i think your work is great, i love the way you have created the image of the mistress floating and i love the detail in the clothing that she is wearing.
I am not a painter. I just happened to find this website and I was very taken by this painting. How could I buy a copy of this painting? It is so relaxing to look at; the way you've captured the wind in her clothing, really spectacular, so surreal!
This painting brought tears to my eyes when i looked at it. Soooo beautiful!
Just when I thought I had seen the most beautiful work -- I come across this image... I just have to say it is F*&ing MAGNIFICENT. I can't take my eyes off the colors, the wonderfully-rendered folds in the cloth, the light and atmosphere, the beauty of the skin tones... You are truly an artist to be inspired by and your work is a level to aspire to.
I like the light on her and i think she looks soooo real!
Oh man, Christophe, I just got my copy of Spectrum 10! it was a real buzz to see you in there along side Larry and Socar...but, I've got to admit that it was your cover that sold me the book! beautiful work!

I think I have seen into the realm of heaven and I can't wait.Excellent,Beautiful,Inspiring!
is that paint? I'm gonna say that it is. I wanna paint like that. it's not fair. seriously, that is extremely well done. congratulations!
Oh. God. So perfect. Fabric, fabric, fabric!!! The folds and draping, the transparency... For all the beauty and intricacy of the background, ones eyes remained riveted on the woman, as they should. She's also beautiful, btw, and her hair is gorgeous! Fantastic work!
I have never seen a picture look so life-like.
Amazing, as always. I've not yet to see a bad piece of art come from your name, and I doubt anyone will see or hear of that soon.
Awsome... and it's in oil! So impressive!
It looks as though she represents some aspect of nature and is ushering in the storm front.
Your artwork is AMAZING and truley one of a kind. The detail in pieces like this are astonishing, and what makes it even more remarkable is that you use real art mediums not just digital programs.
i am impressed with the concept of the mam
moth cascading falls. crystal clarity in execution. first-rate as usual.
Awesome! - just awesome.
