Chris, great drawing talent! Everything, the planes in the face, the horns, the feeling of warm skin, everything.

Jesus! What eyes!!! It is fantastic to see what you can do with a pencil Xavier. Why don´t you do pencil-illustrations to LOTR? That would be a challenge worthy of your skills.

I probably should start producing stuff in colour.. It’s just I have always preferred as little colour as possible when it comes to (my own) pictures and photos. Too much colour, in my opinion, can take the focus away from emotions and feelings in a drawing. But of course there is also a lot to gain by colour so I think I’ll give it a go.

*laughter* He's a stubborn bastard who really loves his horns I can tell you that much...

I had some problems when it came to the horns... I didn't have the slightest idea how they would look. So I came up with what you see and I'm very pleased you like it.

Very true Chris. Actually this was my biggest pencil-drawing ever when I started with it. It is also drawn on thick Watercolor-paper which I have never used before so it was quite experimental. It took me about 10 hours to complete.

At first I thought drawing myself was the most difficult thing I could do... Now I know it is but I have come to really enjoy the challenge. I can certainly recommend doing self-portraits for the fun of it but I must warn you… If you aren’t single or haven’t got a VERY understanding better half it might be safe to leave it a rest cause it means you have to spend so much time in front of the mirror you might easily be mistaken for a narcissist. *smiles* Anyway, thank you for the nice comment Vera.
