Artwork Description

This took forever to finish, but it means more to me than I can tell. It's about feeling trapped, judged and not in control of my life. Photoshop 6 & Wacom pad.

The blue against the reds look amazing. The hands at the top are almost Monty Pythonesque. Great picture!

Wow, very good job. This makes a statement...I don't wot that statement is but there's one there somewhere...

Thank you! Yeah, she's everyone's puppet. Just like a "good little girl" should be... something like that, anyway.

Thank you so much! I will seek out those films. And I agree, stronger shadows are in order. Thanks for your suggestions.

I love your work, so I can't wait to see how your sketch turns out. As for feeling trapped... I hope those feelings don't persist. They're the worst!

feelings are amazing and how minds work as well. I've had in mind to do a painting that relate to those feelings because those are the feelings that I'm feeling EXACTLY, but I find it interesting how your creativity translated those feelings, and how my creativity drew something completely different (i sketched it, but nothing near a final sketch). Nice colors and symbolism.

I love it. The work depicts a scene that occurs periodically in everyone's life. I can relate. Is the writing on the walls some of your work also?

Powerfully done and great colors- you can see this means alot to you. It looks like the other hands on the ceiling could use shadows, but thats nit-picking. If you aren't already into them go pick up the DVD or video of The Brothers Quay's short films- you'd love them. Trust me.

I love the rich colors in this, and also the hand coming from the top of the ceiling; from the thumbnail I thought she was the puppeteer...but clearly, I was wrong...

Art at its best.
