the person below me is joking right?

All my work is done with a mouse. Smile Not even a good mouse but cheap one I got at a garage sale for free with a loose ball. The software I use is a freeware program called the Gimp. The program is often made fun of because people think you can't do anything with it. All my art is to prove that you can. Laughing out loud

is the time you spend creating a piece of art a valid criterion to judge it? I really don't think so. I get envious of your talent looking at this picture but -ONLY- because I think 'he did THIS with the mouse!?! I will never be able to do it'. I like it. I like it but... have you really done this with the mouse?

I'm always only inspired to do better when I'm rejected. Smile

I've been rejected a lot. About a year ago I even had stuff removed when they were raising standards. I practice a lot and I love LOVE looking through all the galleries here. It's so inspiring looking at all the work that I just keep practicing. Every once in a while I'll submit something I like. Smile Thank you for the positive feedback!

Lots of people are bitter because they submit an image and it gets rejected. Most of the images I submit get rejected while another person I know has all of hers get posted, no matter if the quality is not that great. It is a subjective process and people just have to accept that if they want to try and have a gallery here. If you don't like it, stick to your own website or post on Elfwood. ;^P

I don't see anything wrong with this at all Joshua. If she has a problem with the editors she should take it up with them instead of insulting your work. She also left a whining complaint on Martino Palladini's piece "A Morning At Sea" the other day. I too have had many pieces rejected that I thought were deserving of being in my gallery, but I've never insulted another artist's work because of that. It would be nice to see some of her work so the rest of us could judge her, but as of this date (6-18-04) she doesn't have a gallery here....hmmmm maybe her stuff isn't good enough. Apparently that's what the editors seem to think anyway. I like this piece Joshua, like I said earlier, don't apologize. She's the one who needs to come to terms with her own insecurities.

The piece is good. If the Epilogue editors thought it was worthy of a posting then it is. She must have been rejected alot!

I think this peice is great! And I have seen much worse on Epiloge, you need not worry about the quality of your work.

I rather like it.

this is not epilogue quality, you probably spent only half an hour doing this ? O_o

Art at its best.
