So once upon a time, there was sleep. And then sleep was incongruously shattered by the spuming forth of an image; causing the sleeper to stumble blearily from his nest and grope about for sharpie and paper with which to record said image. The sleeper was ok with all this, since it happens so rarely and he was somewhat enamored of the image that blasted him from sleep. The sketch birthed from this event sat around for a few months until there was need to art fitting in the great schematic theme of "Story Time", and then it was transformed to cleaner and more intricate forms so that it could be carved in linoleum and printed 40 times. These repetitious pictures eventually find their way to cozy homes in cloth-bound cases full of their brethren Story Time artwork, where they reside in the hands of the art makers who each crafted a print for this purpose.
