I love the eye itself and its wonderfully solid wooden base, did you use any other media besides acrylic? those lines are so fine and well-controlled.

Ooh, I really like this! It is such a compelling image! the eye is so alive, and so full of wisdom, it really has a beyond-human qulity to its gaze. And those earthy tendrils of light, wow. The whole thing is so deep with detail and meaning. Well done!

Exclusive design of a painting and amazing colors-so "sur", yet so everyday-real:)

Hello Cameron. Thanks and I'm glad you enjoyed this piece. I actually did utilize a technique in which I used color pencil with acrylics.... so in a way... you were right. Smile

This is a great piece Dekel. I like it so much because it differs a lot from some of the more traditional fantasy artwork. I also like the texture that you have going with it, as i would have guessed colour pencils at first glance, not acrylic. Great work, keep it up!

hello daine. They're not heiroglyphics per se', but I have a special letter system for coding messages in my art. I'm glad you enjoyed it.

Are those hireogliphics (or however you spell it) on the bottom red bit? I like this one.
