Artwork Description

Watercolours can be hell to do, but they surely look pretty when finished... although I am afraid the angle of the shoulder, whether covered by hair or not, still looks rather weird.

Thank you very much, Steve: your comment means a lot to me because I happen to love the way *you* do the lighting in your work. And yes, I do know the song, and I bought Loreena McKennit´s live cd because of it Smile

The lighting in all your work is very well done!I really like the watercolor, and the Merlin piece is Fantastic! Keep it up, you certainly have the talent! Oh, I noticed the lady of shallott pic; have you ever heard a song of the same name by Loreena Mckennit?.....if not you should try to find it.

Take Care!!

Well, the resemblance to LeeLee is understandable, because I the idea for the pose comes from a picture of her I found in an old magazine... but, as if often happens with me, I lost the picture when I was in the middle of the painting, so I ended up finishing it without any model or reference - which I think was a good thing, actually.

This is lovely... looks just like LeeLee Sobieski. Nice color and oooh yeah, do I envy your watercolor technique.

Beautiful paiting. Beautiful face. I thinks her shoulder is fine. Its just that her upper arm begins to bend upward- that looks a little unusual ... unless the bend is her elbow. But pretty painting overall Smile

Art at its best.
