I'm hesitant to post this-- I'm quite shy. o_O Slef-portrait done with oil pastel in Painter Classic.
You have a wonderful gift - I especially like your griffins, but this proves that you are a very well rounded artist because this is just as beautiful. I love the style here and I can tell you this - the person who made that awful comment, you just ignore. There will always be jealous and ignorant people out in the world, but don't let them get you down. Let your individuality, your creativity soar - just like your griffins and dragons do.
Your very beautiful and so is your work please post more soon.
If this is your self portrait, it is wonderful, you sould be proud
I love the feathers
Dear Nambroth. Once again I find this picture in one of your many online galleries, and as so many times before I am enchanted by its beauty, in complete awe of your masterly skills. I truly consider this piece of art to be one of your finest, and I am grateful that you continue to share your creations with the rest of us, in spite of intentionally hurtful comments such as the Hugs and kisses above. Being a medical student and having worked as a home help for many disabled people, including some with Downs Syndrome, I can tell you with absolute certainty that your self-portrait in no way resemble the characteristics of a Downs patient. From where the person writing the aforementioned comment has got the impression that this angelic figure should depict a Downs patient, I have absolutely no idea, but all I see is a radiant girl, her inner strength and well-balanced nature clearly visible in her posture and expression. You look wonderful, truly lovely, and dont believe anyone telling you different. Great work as always.
Jennifer, I think you caught in your self-portrait what I see in your work.
ahhhh you're amazingly beautiful~ don't be shy, and i suggest more self-portraits
Why are you hesitant! You are an Angel that has graced us with your beauty and a talent that cannot be surpased.
Never...ever, be hesitant with your art, For the good of all goodly folk!
Don't be shy, you're beautiful!

OMG...I have always been a huge fan of you griffins, but when I seen this...it has to be one of the BEST pics you have ever done!! I would looove to see more work w/ people in it. You are TRULY talented.
You are very good painter, don't pay attention to psycho statements like "hugs and kisses". All good people like your images.
Beautiful image. Fluid light and gentle shading.
you're beautiful and you're an inspiration
First it's a great job, I really like it. Second, and I guess this is kinda wierd just pointing out but im a honest person, you look good.
This is a beautiful piece of work Jennifer..only an obviously jealous person of low character would make such statement, especialy useing a
defenseless less fortunate person(down syndrome child) to make thier point...
Wow, at first I didn't realize that this was self-portrait. I thought that maybe you did a commision for someone with a child with down syndrome. I thought it was sweet, but seeing as that it is a self-portrait, I'm kind of disturbed. I'm soooo sorry. By the way, that Crystal Phoenix image on elfwood looks like a chicken neck. Also, I know what a swans neck looks like and that isn't it.
I must say. I was looking for a picture of a winged person. Some were too animated, others didn't portray the characteristics I wanted. But your picture. Its just simply beautiful! Its simple, cute, and exactly the kind of picture I was hoping to find Please keep up the great work. With art like this, you'll go far!
you have very nice eyes *grins
great imagination,i really like the shades and colortones!
You are an inspiration. Thank you
Great light- and such a thoughtful / playful expression. Very well done.
All i can say is that i'm glad you got over your shyness Jennifer
