What a refreshing view of the much fantasized of & drawn Unicorn. I absolutely LOVE the colours!!!!

ok, as a horse person i have a "crit"... the neck and shoulder are connected oddly, and the hindquarters are a bit low. The muzzle is somewhat shallow, I think it should be more rounded. Great coloring, tho!

you say to leave cruts, but this is really good.. so i'll just tell you what's so good about it- be prepared-
i like that the poportions are pretty much accurate- his stomach does look a bit thin near his hind legs, or not as acentuated as it should be- the best thing about this piece is the head and the horn. horses heads are usually done so awkwardly , but this is gracefulli fits, it flows, and the shadowing is great, the reds and greens and all the colors go well together.
the hair is belivable, and magical at the same time
the horn is beautifully donethe thinness and length make it - again- mystical, exactly what people imagine when they think of a unicorns horn.. although a closser look araises the question of whether its pointing in the right direction... i also like the sky, very van gogh/starry night
crit- maybe the water ought to be splashing a lot more in front o him as well,as he's trampling through the water... anyways.... hope that's what you wanted.... i like it.. it's way too good for a "first poke"

I love the colours and the wildness that is sugested in the picture.
But the shoulder is surely wrong and the neck looks like it belongs to another. Or it could be a false head placed on a horse to fool us all? The front legs don't look long enough to me either?

Hey Blain=) Hmmm... I like this a lot.. the colours are very eye catching... and I can almost hear the water splashing=) Only bit that bugs me is his eye... I dunno why, its just very distracting for me... hmm... maybe if it were kept black? **shrug** Very nice=)

I hate to say it, because I love this very much, but the swirlys in the background are a bit distracting and I can't figure out what purpose they serve. But other than that, the colorful unicorn is a very novel idea and very fitting.

I love this, great movement! I love how it's not too prissy.

You have created a very powerful image. The unicorn looks untouchable, magical and certainly different from any other unicorn pictures I have seen.

oh, wow....teh fact that u used so many colors for things that would normally have not that much color is what makes this image look so ince. Great movement too!
