Artwork Description

Based on the large initial pages et al of the Book of Kells. This one-of-a-kind piece was created for an award ceremony. The text reads "As beauty, grace..." The A is formed of a large blue celtic bull. The head and Tail terminate two ends, the third is the thing that hangs down between the head and tail (figure it out) which sports a rather unhappy face and waves a banner. Although knotwork embellishes most of the initial, there are a few wyrms, and the "G" is formed of a fish devouring a bird.

Absolutely gorgeous. I'm fascinated by Celtic art and the Book of Kells, and I must say you catch it's essence wonderfully! I'm curious, how long did it take to do this? Get any cramps in your hand? lol.

That is so good! I love all the little details, they really add a lot.

Art at its best.
