Artwork Description

From the H.P.Lovecraft short story of the same name. An alien force moves through the trees, causign them to dance a writhe, its color is only described as not within the normal spectrum. Anything that touches it turns to ash, and the birds flee its presence as it whirls from tree to tree.

I love this piece though I am not familiar with the subject matter. It speaks to me in a strange way. Thank you for sharing. jmdragonwolf@aol.com

I really like the coloring, it's all very fractal to me (reminds me of my maths classes).

Ahh, yes, Lovecraftian stuff. This is cool, it's really impossible to portray a color that's outside of our known range, but this comes close. This is much like how I envisioned it, a sort of oily swirly rainbow effect. It would be pretty, if it didn't cause disease and insanity and death.

Too cool, Ick - I love your use of negative space and the line work is intense! Brilliant!
