Artwork Description

A green man, bearing the leaves and fruit of Taxus baccata, the common yew tree. Yews, an evergreen, are usually recognized as traditional cemetary and church-yard trees and are among the longest-lived trees on earth.

A very impressing painting. Just a little note: I think the Sequioas are getting older (some more information you can find here: Thats what I am told, dont know, what is right now.

Hey Ick! Nice piece - we had some of those yews in front of our house - I never knew that about them. I like the expression on the green man very much.
