Ahhhh, Tom, I need an armour like her Wink She is so great done! Wonderful work.

I like your insight on this, its very much like what I was trying to portray, no reflection on the model though (Tifany), but she had that trusting smile I was looking for in this...Thanks for the great comment...

wow it reminds me of this realy prety bitch lol ya madona too that's hilarious i hate madona love her music but she's evil. Yes, madona, and all self ritchous hurtfull devils everywhere who lie and wear masks and lie to ignore their evil ways as long as posible without having to deal with how they make others feel her smile is so welcoming that's what i love about this someone truly evil wouldn't let you know like in most paintings they'd suck you in then slowly suck the life out of you and try to make you feel guilty about it too well that's all lol love your painting bye ^_^

portalrun's picture

thank you , and to answer you ques , was going for a dark mass kind of look...

Guest's picture

Her expression says, "You don't know this, but I've got a big, sharp sword, and I'm going to kill you. I can't wait to see the look on your face." I love the armor, especially her sleave. The face on her stomache reminds me of Medusa on Athene's shield. Is she in some kind of church or temple?

portalrun's picture

I'll pass that on to the model (Tiffany)I think she'll get a out of it...and thanks for the nice compliments on the artwork...

ya know ... she kinda looks like madonna! great work, i love all your stuff.

portalrun's picture

Hi Chalcara
Yup thats just part of her armor, and about the smudging thing,I work in lots of graphite layers deep, so it becomes pretty solid, also try to be very carful....and thanks, demon princesses always like to be admired...

chalcara's picture

I soooooo hope for her that the scary face on her belly is just part of her armor...

Awesome pic, btw. How did you manage not to smudge the pencil while drawing? All my pencil art gets smudged.

portalrun's picture

Hey thanks Bill, pencils my favorite ...

bcorbett67's picture

Hi Tom, I really envy your pencil skill - great attention to detail and a very professional finish. I love the underlying patten in the wings and that develish grin Smile

portalrun's picture

aah! she just looks sneaky you can trust her...

pageaxe's picture

Yep,she'd sell ya a used car with three tires on it no doubt about it.Very nice pencil work Tom.

portalrun's picture

Come on Ishan, you wouldent trust her,she might just look evil....

Guest's picture

This is quite a wicked-looking babe, Tom - I'd trust her about as far as I could throw her but, man, looking like that I wouldn't wanna throw her away Smile There's some really great detail here in your pencil work, I particularly like the texture effect you've instilled in the wings. I also like your background and the mist effect. I'd have to be careful of that not-so-carefully-hidden blade, though, eh? Smile

portalrun's picture

If you ever see this one smiling your way, you might want to just run...Thanks for stoping by J.P. and the nice comments, its very inspiring...

vengince's picture

I love her grin I always love women with slick grins makes you wonder what they are up to. Lovely rendering too.

portalrun's picture

Thanks Vicki, glad you could see the wickedness in the grin...

bernie's picture

She's got such a wicked grin! I'm gonna use that on my husband! great stuff!

portalrun's picture

Thanks Patrick, the size 9x12 on 100lb smooth finished bristol,my face reference was from a head shot photo of a model I will be using for this character...Thanks for noticing the details and the inspiring comments on my artwork...

megaflow's picture

Great detail on the aromor! And yet another nice face. What size is the original? Also, what finish is the bristol board?

portalrun's picture

Thanks James , glad you could notice the distrusting characterization, its what I was going for, always good to hear from you...

somerset's picture

Tom, the one thing I've noticed about your work, is the individuality that you imbue into your characters, and this one is no exception, the usual quality pencils, but the details in her armour are brilliantly achieved, and that beautifuly devilish face...you'd need a food taster, living with this gal! lol!

portalrun's picture

Glad you like it Tiffany...

portalrun's picture

Thanks Mary...

Art at its best.
