Thank you bunches! Especially coming from someone so talented as yourself. Thinking in the same lines of Tolkein, am I? What might those similar thoughts be? Unfortunately, I have never read any of Tolkein's books, so I'm not quite sure as to what you mean.

I see your thinking along the same thought line as Tolkien...they say "great minds think alike, but only fools differ"... great work Marcela!

One day when I'm older and have more time and experience....I want to make a stained glass door like this Smile Ha...that'll sure take for ever and probably be costly since i don't know a thing about craftwork.

magicwindow's picture

I agree with the bookmark idea and suggest the it would also make an excellent stained glass window or tapestry.

twstdrealty8's picture

Thanks! Never thought of it as a bookmark! I'll look into that. Smile

very nice theme and execution. would also make a keepsake bookmark.

wow...very impressive! well illustrated, and well said!

Thanks! Not only do I have a thing for trees, but I have a thing for opposites, too. Smile

This is a neat concept, Marcela. The division between night and day and the facial features in the tree is a really cool idea.

twstdrealty8's picture

Thanks! yea...I thought I'd mention something because I don't think anyone saw the face. Smile

pantropy's picture

This is definately my favourite of your works. I hadn't noticed the face until reading the comments, but it is very obvious now Wink I'd have to agree with the other comments that this would make a great stain-glassed window.

Great design, all the elements of this painting work wonderfully together; excellent.

twstdrealty8's picture

Just out of curiousity? Does anyone notice the person/face in the tree?

nice pic

twstdrealty8's picture

Thanks. I dunno why, but I have a thing for trees. I love drawing them.

twstdrealty8's picture

nope, I've never tried stained glass before, but I'd love to learn one day! Smile

Wow.. it's great, love the colors. Great tree too.. i always dislike drawing them 'caus they are so difficult but you rendered it amazingly'

wrreyes's picture

Fabulous! I think this'll make a great stain glass piece. Have you tried that medium? Thanks for dropping by my page, BTW.

lol, whoa there. Actually I did draw something inspired by lint on someone's shirt in class, but it wasn't this picture. The lint-inspired pictrue remains only a sketch. Smile Thanks for the compliments, though!

WOW! It's so gorgeous!!! *SHRIEK* Was it inspired by lint?!?!?!!? Like you said you got inspired by lint in the place where people type stuff?!?!? Lint is so cool. I like pink and purple and blue jean mixture personally...YOU SHOULD PAINT SOME STAINED GLASS LINT!!!

Art at its best.
