Artwork Description

Image that came to mind while listening to Loreena McKennitt's "Bonnie Swans". Short version of the story: jelous sister pushes younger sister into the river where she drowns and turns into a swan, but a harper makes a harp out of her and it plays on its own.

Beautiful bones. They have a life of their own once deprived of flesh. The memory of living tissue remains, radiates through any likeness.

Oh yes! I am a big fan or Loreena McKennitt's music. She, and several other Irish/Celtic singers are a constant source of inspiration for me Smile

Wow! Yes that's a great song and a great interpretation of it. As far as "other" media goes, is this watercolor and colored pencil? Very nicely done!
