Artwork Description

An anthro lupine gryphon, a royal guard to the Empress herself. The "bird" part of this character is a mix between a red shouldered-hawk, a red-tailed hawk, and a ferruginous hawk. The mammal part is a regular gray wolf, which shows up in the ears, eyes, and "pads" on the hands. The lower half of the body would be wolf as well.

I love you work.

I love the claws, they've got so much wonderful texture and detail. They only thing I would say in critique is that the background looks a wee bit rushed, but otherwise it's quite nice. (I also like that bronzed pattern that sort of encircles the griffon, it really adds to the composistion)

Really nice...I especially like the ornate border behind the already ornate pattern of the feathers, etc...

this is a very good mix of animals and a wonderful coloring job. I really like this and I tend not to like many animals mixed together, but you did a wonderful job at blending them.

Art at its best.
