hey chris! yeah, i intentionally worked within the frazetta 'a' to see what advantages it offered and i loved it as an organizing principle. thanks for stopping by, mate!

why thanks markey! (er, marley). so nice to have the opportunity to read some of your commentary again mate!

as to brushes, i use digital airbrush set at 10% opacity, usually on semi-opaque layers (often gel and multiply for tinting), which adds up to kind of a glazing technique, like in oil painting. for some modeling and edges i use painter's variable round oil brush, which kind of drags the 'paint' around in fun ways.

thats a finely painted piece of art jess. A simple but very effective composition, and great colours to bring it all home too!. Awesome character design!.
