That's great! I love Gnomes Wink There's a really lovely children's book appeal to this.

Thanks, Andi!

I'm considering creating a series featuring this little village. Daydreaming about these teeny, wee folk brings out the kid in me....!

Hi Patience!
This painting is so appealing to all ages. I love it and so does my 20 month old daughter, who is a huge fan of
ladybugs. Andi

Heh!

Thanks for visiting, Jessica! I didn't know quite exactly where I was going with this painting when I began --but, this is what I ended up with. I will make a point of looking up "The Fairy Feller's Master Stroke" . Thanks, again!

Color!!!! The composition of this painting reminds me a little of "The Fairy Feller's Master Stroke" by Richard Dadd. It has that same drive-you-crazy intricacy. Love the ladybug parade and peeking frog.

Thanks, Anne! I'm so glad you guys liked it. Actually, I painted this one at the suggestion of my own 9 year old son. I'm always happy when my shtuff appeals to children.....

Patience - this is wonderful! My little boy loves it too! Especially the ladybugs! Very sweet and the colors are perfect.

Amazing colour work! I'd love to see the real thing up close, this might sound strange but I,ve been back to look at this one a few times and it looks different each time, lovely arrayed composition, nice one Patience!

Art at its best.
